Curriculum & Project Assistant

Are you the kind of person who goes down YouTube rabbit holes to learn about subjects that fascinate you, not just for entertainment, but because you genuinely want to understand how things work? Do you have a to-be-read book list that keeps growing faster than you can finish it? Do you find yourself learning about topics completely outside your “main” subjects simply because they’re interesting?

We’re looking for you.

We’re seeking an intelligent homeschool student, recent graduate, or college student who is naturally curious, loves learning, and thrives on variety. This isn’t just another job—it’s an opportunity to work with curriculum that matters, contribute to meaningful education, and grow your skills in a flexible, supportive environment.

You might be a great fit if:

  • You get excited when starting a new project—and equally excited when completing it
  • You’re detail-oriented but never lose sight of the big picture
  • You’re a self-starter who doesn’t need constant supervision to stay on track
  • You have technical acumen—whether through formal experience or just tinkering with software, websites, and digital tools
  • You’re quick to communicate and don’t let questions or problems linger
  • You thrive on feedback and correction because you want to improve
  • You enjoy working with others and collaborating toward shared goals
  • You’re constantly curious about a wide range of subjects, not just one or two specialties

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building out curriculum content in our learning management system
  • Assisting curriculum development leads with communication to teachers
  • Tracking progress on curriculum development projects
  • Spot-checking elements across our website to ensure quality and consistency
  • Collaborating with the team on various curriculum-related tasks

What we’re looking for:

  • Self-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail while keeping the larger goals in mind
  • Technical comfort with computers, websites, software, and digital tools (experience or demonstrated ability)
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness
  • Availability for Zoom or phone calls to collaborate on projects
  • Flexibility to work on your own schedule (most of the time)
  • A genuine love of learning across multiple subjects

Job details:

  • Location: Local (Nashville area) preferred, but remote is welcome
  • Hours: 15+ hours per week
  • Pay: $20 per hour to start
  • Schedule: Flexible—most work can be done on your own schedule, with occasional meetings

If you’re the person who’s always reading, always learning, always asking “why?” and “how?” we’d love to hear from you.

Subject Teachers

In 2023 we started to offer live classes alongside our many self-paced video classes. This was a bit of an experiment for us. Although we prefer to create self-paced courses, we found that some subjects seemed to work better with a live teacher instructing students. Literature benefits from class discussion and direct interaction; spoken foreign languages need to be spoken.

Although we will continue to produce new self-paced courses, we want to expand our Live Classes to meet a variety of homeschooling needs. We are therefore looking for qualified teachers to join our team. If you, or someone you know, might be a good fit for one or more of the following classes, please reach out to us.

We do have some qualifications that are pretty important.

  1. We want to hire teachers who have at least a few years experience teaching their subject in front of students.
  2. Candidates need to demonstrate mastery of the subject.
  3. Candidates need to understand how that subject relates to a Christian worldview.
  4. Candidates need to be engaging and interesting teachers.

If those four qualifications fit you, please apply with an email that includes:

  • An explanation of why you would be a good fit
  • Your Resume/CV
  • Your approach to teaching this subject
  • A link to a video of you teaching the subject (either online or in a classroom)

In terms of payment, we offer a split of the enrollment fee per student. Specifics will be discussed with qualified teachers.

Here’s a list of the classes we are trying to fill. If you teach a class that isn’t listed here, but you think might be a good fit for us, feel free to email us about it.
