Self-Paced Class Teachers

We are looking for Christian teachers who love their subjects to help us create new video curriculum series. Any teacher who is interested needs to have the following qualifications:

  1. Multiple years experience teaching the subject in front of students.
  2. Interesting and engaging on camera.
  3. Able to teach the subject from a throughly integrated Christian worldview.

Here are the series we’d like to develop:

Personal Finance

We’d like to create a series that helps students understand what the Bible teaches about using money in the contemporary world. This class is more than budgets and finance, but teaches Christian stewardship of gifts and resources. We want to provide students with practical methods based on clear Biblical principles. This would be a one-semester course (14 to 16 lessons).

Civics/Government

We are interested in creating a series that tracks the history of government from ancient times to the present, exploring how Christian and secular principles have been in regular tension throughout the development of various systems. The majority of the class will focus on US government in its various manifestations. The class will take a similar approach to our economics series (14 to 16 lessons).

Chemistry & Physics

We aren’t necessarily looking for one teacher to teach both classes, but the approach will be the same for both: teaching these applied science classes from a creationist perspective. Both will need to incorporate labs, as well. The goal is to give students a Biblical understanding of these fascinating disciplines, showing how they reveal so much about the nature of design and order in our universe.

Mathematics

We would like to create a middle-school/high school Mathematics series from a Christian worldview. This would include: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. The right teacher will know exactly what we are interested in doing. So far as we can tell, it has not yet been done on video.

Middle School Science

We are looking for a teacher to help us implement a new middle school series that we have developed incorporating physical, life, general, and other sciences into a three year program. The right teacher is a generalist who knows how to make science interesting for middle school teachers. Again, this class will be taught from a creationist perspective.

If you have the right qualifications and are interested in pursuing any of these positions, please drop us a note.
